Lantern of Dawn
The night exhales its final sigh,
stars retreat into the folds of the sky.
A silver hush, a tender flame,
the world awakens without a name.
The trees lean close, their branches still,
a bird rehearses its fragile trill.
The horizon bends, reflecting gold,
as daybreak’s lantern takes its hold.
And in this light,
both the dawn and the fading night.
A keeper of balance, a gentle song,
a space where all the mornings belong.
